Today is #NationalPetDay* and we dedicate this post with love to all of the four-legged and two-legged and extra-special tripod animal besties we share our lives and our homes with. So, to all of our babies with brown or green or blue or yellow or hazel pretty peepers and, of course, also to our winky, one-eyed wonders, 𝘸𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶. To our slobber bombers and our fart flingers and our super-boss belchers, we stand in endless awe of your skills. To our chonky champs and our skinny sweeties, and to our social superstars and our shyer and more anxious fur-kids, we will always love you just as you are. To our current animal besties and to the ones we’ve loved and lost due to illness or time, we constantly carry you with us in our hearts. To our biggest fans on all of our days and our greatest sources of comfort on our worst, we don’t know what we’d do without your support. To our favorite non-human comedians, confidants, teachers and family, to the ones we adopted and the ones who adopted us, THANK YOU. We are better humans because you love us and let us love you.
